Look to the East is an extended play, released in 2014, composed of three instrumental metal songs. Ryan Lee plays the drums, Austin Beiber plays the electric guitar, and Kyle Howey plays the electric guitar. To the Skies is an instrumental trio, from Belmar, New Jersey, that formed in the Spring of 2013. In 2015, the band added the bass guitarist Matt Sweeney, and later, Brendan Ryan. They often played at concerts at the Jersey Shore, such as at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park, the Brighton Bar in Brighton, and at the Wall Township County Fair, in between 2014, and 2016. They were also finalists in a Battle of the Bands, in 2015. The album is described by the band as 'instrumetal,' and classified by the free music web site clongclongmoo.org as experimental, metal, and post rock. It was circulated on CD-R, and released on line at Reverbnation.com. The fourth track is a live recording of the trio performing "Titan" at the Crossroads, in Garwood, New Jersey, in 2014. Between September of 2015, and April of 2016, they made studio recordings of three songs, named "Such is Life," "Monachopsis," and "Better Living Through Alchemy."
